Morning Shades

So I'm rather lost on how the heck these photos got put in reverse order, but -- the first one in center is the last one, and the left one is second, and the right one is first. In terms of the progression of colors and changing sky while the sun was rising, that is.

Also, I chose to use different exposure for many of my photos, and don't remember if these three were using the same exposure throughout--most likely not. I guess, next time I try this, I should set my camera at the same medium exposure, and take continuous snapshots so that I can record the changing colors through a constant exposure.

This time, though, I was focused on getting good shots each time. "Good" meaning--representing the color in the sky in the best manner possible, with as much contrast so that it seems real on the photo, as it is real in front of me.

These were taken in the course of 3 minutes, at Sunrise Point in Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah. Next time I'll post some taken at Zion and Grand Canyons as well.
